Our co-founder, Tierney Fairchild, was on the panel for Developing Programs to Engage Business Schools and Individuals With Records. Dr. Fairchild spoke about how our work of bringing business schools into prisons has evolved over the last decade and overviewed the new programs we’re developing to aid in employment post-release. Allison Kroboth, a graduate of Resilience Education who is now the first peer navigator in our post-release community, also spoke on the panel about her experience.
Also in honor of Second Chance Month, we’re bringing new programming to our post-release community to enable career exploration. We’re starting with a series of what it’s like to work in tech and how to get hired. And we plan to expand to additional industries in the coming months as well. If you’re interested in getting involved, email arica@resilience-education.org.
