Celebrating Those Who Have Served and Announcing our Partnership with Oddball! On behalf of Resilience Education, we would like to wish you all a Happy Veterans Day. At Resilience, a number of our incarcerated students, released graduates, and instructors are veterans, and our community has benefitted from their many skills and talents. Today, we are thrilled to announce our continued partnership with Oddball! They became our first employer partner in 2020, and we are grateful for their renewed support. Oddball is a veteran-owned digital agency that works towards improving federal citizen-centric services. Their partnership will help us extend their care to some of the 181,000 incarcerated veterans across the country.  Oddball’s very own CEO, Travis Sorenson, taught in our Dillwyn facility as an MBA student and recently helped coach one of our graduates, Robin. Through his coaching on federal contracts, Robin landed the largest contract her company had seen, leading to a well-deserved promotion!  Robin’s success is evidence that post-release support and mentorship can change a previously incarcerated individual’s life. We look forward to working with Oddball to enhance opportunities that the Resilient Professional Community provides for those who have served our country.
