SCRAM systems donates to Resilience Education
This donation from SCRAM provides the necessary resources for Resilience Education to expand its curriculum, offering courses in personal finance, business, and entrepreneurship. Following this new collaboration between the private and non-profit sectors, Resilience Education endeavors to bring its holistic model of in-prison education and post-release support to more universities, correctional facilities, and communities.

Charles J. Lewis III Resilience Education Fund
Resilience Education is proud to announce the establishment of the Charles J. Lewis III Resilience Education Fund that will be managed by the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. This meaningful gesture of generosity from the Lewis Family, in memory of their late nephew, will help Resilience to continue building more impactful initiatives in the form of higher education and professional support for incarcerated and released individuals.

Resilience Education receives $2.5 million grant from Ascendium Education Group
Resilience Education has been awarded a transformative grant of $2.5 million from the Ascendium Education Group. This generous grant enables Resilience Education to expand its growing network of business schools, employer and correctional partners to prepare returning citizens to thrive in their professional lives post-release. As of June 2023, the Resilience Education curriculum has been taught in six correctional facilities across Virginia, New York, and Pennsylvania.
